About KatyKaty is a very special girl in the kennels. Her show career started well, with several Best Puppy of Breed, and then during a storm at one show she was hurt. A metal tent peg was torn out of the ground, and whisked into the air, and came down across Kate's side, hurting her, but worse than that really frightening her.
Katy became impossible to handle in the ring, and eventually we withdrew her. She did not start being campaigned until she was nearly 4 years old, after this, and then WOW! she made Champion in 6 days, we could hardly believe it.
Katy is sadly no longer wih us but loved to go to shows and show off in the Veteran classes.
Here at Wizaland Katy has probably bred on the most true to type, her children and grand children are so like her in both looks and temperament.
